At 12:00 on Tuesday 20 October 2026 the application drafting phase of the Cloud and Cybersecurity Voucher of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) opened: a 50% non-repayable grant of up to €20,000 for SMEs and self-employed workers. Invitalia’s page on the incentive switched to “Active” status, with the “Compila la domanda” button leading to the reserved area. From today, then, the application is actually built; it is sent from 10 November.

What changed between 19 and 20 October

On 19 October MIMIT updated the page of the measure: the “Guida alla compilazione” now points to the official address of Invitalia’s interactive guide, the demo desk with the same sections as the real application. The Ministry keeps writing that the link for submission will be made available “in due time”: in practice it is the same Invitalia reserved area where drafting has been possible since 20 October, not a different portal. The official FAQs are unchanged since the 12 October update: 52 answers for suppliers, 42 for beneficiaries. No new decree, no change to dates or amounts.

What you can do from today

  • Register the company in “Anagrafica e deleghe”. The legal representative logs in with SPID, CIE or CNS, adds the company with its tax code and confirms the data from the Business Register. From there they can delegate a consultant or employee, with read or write access: the delegate drafts, the signature stays with the legal representative. Self-employed workers are not registered there, but can delegate with a digitally signed proxy.
  • Draft the sections of the application. Company information (applicant, legal representative, signatory, contact person); investment plan, with the description of the starting point and of the objectives up to 5,000 characters each, the expected duration, a single site and the expenses by category, each with the type and the supplier’s identification code; declarations; generation of the application and attachments.
  • Enter only items from the supplier’s catalogue. The platform accepts exclusively the services and products present in the catalogue published by the supplier in the Ministry’s list, with the related code. An item outside the catalogue is not eligible. In the vendor, distributor and system integrator chain, the code of whoever is accredited for the product type counts; the offer and the invoice remain the reseller’s.
  • Attach signed offers and the insurance declaration. The supplier’s offer must be signed and must contain the supplier’s identifier, the service codes, the starting point, the expected improvement and the economic framework with purchase mode and fees. The declaration on insurance against catastrophic risks is made on the Ministry’s template and also covers rented, leased or loaned assets.

What not to do, now

Do not buy. Expenses are eligible only if incurred after the application is submitted, and in MIMIT’s template the programme counts as already started with a single contract, order, invoice or down payment: open drafting changes nothing until the application is sent. Do not change your mind afterwards. The choice between direct purchase and a subscription of at least 24 months is made beforehand: after the application you cannot switch from one to the other. One application only. It can contain several products and suppliers, but once transmitted it cannot be supplemented; another one can be filed only after a rejection.

What happens on 10 November

At 12:00 submission opens. Applications are assessed in chronological order of submission, with Invitalia’s assessment within 60 days and the CUP assigned at submission, until the €150 million runs out, €71,065,813.34 of which is reserved for eight regions of Southern Italy. The desk formally stays open until 12:00 on 20 January 2027, but if the funds run out earlier the Ministry closes it and announces it. That is why it pays to arrive on 10 November with the application already drafted, the attachments uploaded and the signatory’s tax code at hand, and to submit that day.

What we do

AtWorkStudio is an approved supplier in all five categories, with 23 services in the catalogue. For those who have already decided to apply we prepare the signed offer in the Ministry’s format, with the starting point verified and put in writing, and we support the drafting in the reserved area. For those who have not decided yet, the free eligibility check tool tells you in a few steps whether the company qualifies and with what estimated grant. The details, the checklist of the twelve things to have ready and the buttons to the platform and the interactive guide are on the voucher page.
