Cloud IT Services
Your website doesn't need hosting.
It needs infrastructure.
Traditional hosting and WordPress bring constant updates, vulnerabilities and mediocre performance. We design web infrastructure on Microsoft Azure: App Service, Static Web Apps, Front Door with WAF, global CDN and automated deployment. Enterprise security and performance, without the maintenance.
WordPress and traditional hosting
are no longer adequate
43% of websites use WordPress, and WordPress accounts for 90% of compromised CMS sites. Every plugin is an attack surface, every missed update is an open vulnerability. Traditional hosting shares resources with hundreds of other sites, with no real isolation.
The alternative is not better hosting: it's a different architecture. Pre-rendered static sites, distributed via global CDN, protected by WAF and deployed automatically. Zero exposed databases, zero CMS to patch, zero servers to manage.
Of compromised CMS sites are WordPress. Outdated plugins, vulnerable themes and default configurations are the primary attack vector.
A static site on Azure has no plugins, no exposed database, no attackable admin panel. The attack surface is reduced to the absolute minimum.
Content is served from the nearest CDN node to the user, with edge caching and automatic compression. Load times under one second.
Every push to GitHub triggers automatic build and deployment. Staging preview for every pull request. Instant rollback if needed.
The Azure components we design
for your site
Azure Static Web Apps
Azure App Service
Azure Front Door + WAF
Global load balancing with integrated Web Application Firewall. Protection against OWASP Top 10 attacks, DDoS, malicious bots. Rate limiting, geo-filtering and custom rules.
Azure DNS
DNS management on Microsoft's global anycast infrastructure. Fast propagation times, high availability, native integration with Front Door, App Service and TLS certificates.
CI/CD and GitHub Actions
Monitoring and security
Application Insights for performance and error monitoring, Log Analytics for centralised audit, automatic alerts for anomalies. Managed TLS certificates, HSTS, CSP and security headers configured.
Why Azure instead
of traditional hosting
It's not just about performance. It's a paradigm shift: from hosting you must manage to infrastructure that manages itself. You focus on content, we handle the architecture.
No CMS to patch, no vulnerable plugins, no exposed database. Managed WAF, automatic TLS certificates and configured security headers.
CDN with edge caching across 180+ Points of Presence worldwide. Sub-second load times, everywhere. Optimal Core Web Vitals.
No hidden WordPress maintenance costs, plugin updates or emergency fixes for hacked sites. Transparent and predictable Azure billing.
Infrastructure compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR. Data in European datacentres. Complete audit trail of every deployment and change.
Frequently asked questions about Azure hosting
Answers to common questions about managed hosting, Azure and WordPress migration.
Traditional hosting and WordPress require constant updates, are vulnerable to attacks (WordPress is the most attacked CMS in the world) and offer limited performance. On Azure, your site runs on Microsoft-managed infrastructure with global CDN, integrated WAF, automatic TLS certificates and zero operating system or plugin maintenance.
Azure Static Web Apps is a hosting service for static sites and modern web applications (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular). Content is distributed via global CDN with edge caching, free TLS certificates and automated deployment from GitHub. There is no server to manage: the site is pre-rendered and served directly from the CDN.
Azure Front Door is a global load balancing service with integrated CDN and Web Application Firewall (WAF). The WAF protects against OWASP Top 10 attacks (SQL injection, XSS, malicious bots), applies rate limiting and geo-filtering. It acts as a shield in front of your site, filtering malicious traffic before it reaches the application.
Yes. There are two approaches: migrate WordPress to Azure App Service (keeping the CMS but with managed infrastructure, Azure MySQL database and CDN), or convert the site to a static architecture (Next.js, Astro) eliminating WordPress entirely. The second approach offers superior performance and security and is what we recommend.
Azure Static Web Apps has a free tier for basic sites and a Standard plan at approximately $9/month. App Service starts at approximately €13/month for the Basic plan. Costs are comparable to traditional hosting but include CDN, TLS, automated deployment and enterprise infrastructure. The real cost to compare is maintenance: with Azure there is no need to update WordPress, plugins, PHP or manage vulnerabilities.
Yes. We configure Azure DNS Zone for complete DNS record management, with optimised TTL, DNSSEC and native integration with other Azure services. We also manage existing domain transfers and custom domain configuration with automatic TLS certificates.
Is your site still on traditional hosting?
It's time to change architecture.
We analyse your current web infrastructure and design the migration to Azure: performance, security and zero maintenance. We manage everything — from architecture to deployment.
